![]() Not as main mode, but opening the dungeon from time to time adding changes and ruleset on the board would be great IMO. This is relatively simple to add to the code, it's simply but very effective to make the game very very interesting and not sticking to metadecks only. the opponent on the right by reaching the left side, if destroying the opponent item, will trigger a malus on the enemy minions or general, regardless of where they are. Opponent on the left, if reaching the right part, and destroy/activate the item (only the general can), the friendly minions around it will gain +x/+y or any other bonus, or the enemy minion will loose -x/-y or any other malus. Also includes animated icons and effects. there are 3 destructible items (faction-based) on each board part. The recently open sourced game Duelyst contains over 600 pixel art units, split in 6 factions and neutral, with attack, idle, running and death animations. What could be interesting, is adding to the map in some kinda of "dungeons" mode, some rpg elements like on certain tiles lava or ice (can be crossed, but -1hp/-1movement for example), destructible obstacles to make the board more interesting/strategical, and adding some factions elements: between two opponents, the dungeons belonging to one of them is chosen. ![]() Not that I'm against but it's hardly something that could be seen in the next future. Duelyst is a tactical turn-based strategy game with a heavy focus on ranked competitive play, brought to you by veteran developers and creators from Diablo III, Rogue Legacy and the Ratchet & Clank series. Players are rewarded with new battle units every monthly season. Head-to-head matches last between five and ten minutes, and focus on thoughtful decision-making and strategic positioning. This took me about 10 seconds to create.2v2 will need a lot of balancing and development. Duelyst - DUELYST is the ultimate collectible tactics game. For people that dont want to bother with this there could still be a "scramble" button which reskins the allowed colors randomly.Įdit: This would be an exmaple for a Tier 2 Prismatic Shivers that allowed me to swap 2 colors. Construct a deck from hundreds of unique cards - use. Position your units on the battlefield and destroy the enemy General to claim victory in strategic turn-based combat. Build your collection of beautifully animated pixel art cards and put your skills to the test on the ranked ladder. Position your units on the battlefield and destroy the enemy General to claim victory in strategic turn-based combat. DUELYST II is a free, fair, competitive tactics game. ![]() Also I am not 100% sure how it would work for spells but basically the effects/cards are also just sprites so it would be almost the same.Īllowing players to pick colors is even better than semi randomly reskinning prismatics what I previously suggested. DUELYST II is a free, fair, competitive tactics game. We actually could even differentiate between multiple tiers of prismatics (for example there could be Tier 1, which allows swapping a single color, Tier 2 allows swapping two colors etc., the tier of a prismatic could be rolled when you open it in a pack which would make high tiers very valuable and encourage crafting prismatics). The only issue here would be somewhat limiting what players are allowed to do since we dont want everyone to run around with all black minions but I think rules could be set up rather easy here. So what if CP implemented such an editor ingame which allows you to edit your sprites but only those of prismatic cards (you can already mod it locally for any card but the enemy wont see it, with this suggestion I mean that the enemy sees it which is the whole point of prestige cards). It would literally take 3 minutes for an amateur to create a complete reskin, if CP would create a custom tool for Duelyst it would be even faster (imagine a couple of seconds, swapping a color is basically 2 clicks). ![]() You can easily swap colors for every frame of the animation. Duelyst was a free-to-play digital collectible card game and turn-based strategy hybrid developed by Counterplay Games, who initially self-published the title but was later published by Bandai Namco. Duelyst sprites have a more ore less small color pallette. To understand that reskinning sprites is actually really, really easy I want you to take a look at piskel app which is an online pixel editor ( ). Then again 9 out of 10 people will tell you that prismatics in this game are very mediocre (not to say shit) and in times when every player matters (and competing games such as Gwent come up with amazing premium animation art) it might not be so unimportant at all. So I understand that this might not be the most urgent issue and the most important thing is gameplay.
